25th January 2013 - Location Scouting

Location scouting in a freezing London for an upcoming magazine shoot. Hunting for the quintessential London backdrop to blur gently into the background with just a hint of bokeh.

11th January 2013 - Jessops

Sad news to hear that Jessops is to cease trading today. Many of my early cameras and lenses were bought from Jessops and their website has always been a useful source of information. Hope the staff are able to find new jobs as soon as possible.

10th January 2013 - Charity Work Published

Found out today that a couple of celebrity shots I took for The Princess Alice Hospice charity event last year were published in OK magazine (18 Dec 2012 edition). I shot the top two images (Tim Vine with the Cossack dancers, and Darren and Lilia).

Celebrity shots are not quite my thing, but it's always nice to get published with a named credit in the national press. Great to see the charity getting good press coverage too.

1st January 2013 - New Year's Resolution

Ok, so I've been meaning to get around to writing a blog for ages, but photography keeps getting in the way! It's now 2013 and I have lots of exciting projects planned for this year, so now is the ideal opportunity to make my new year's resolution to blog, blog, blog!
